This project is one of those technical challenges that we really enjoy geting into. We were asked to develop the promotional package that Mahou uses in movie theaters, presenting movie trailers, makings or interviews. The challenge was not the package itself, but the fact that each character was shot on video, and then rotoscoped in 2K with a hand drawn style, frame by frame with a huge amount of detail which means a greater amount of lines. Thank god for wacom!

Here are some initial boards and character studies. The first idea was that we were in a surreal dreamworld with floating buildings, topiary animals and pastel colored backgrounds, but the client wanted something more down to earth, so we had to use pen colors and white background, which also has a beautiful result.
