Pet Penguin
As part of Mtv's Global Warming Campaign, originally it was conceived to be shot as live action, but taking a Penguin to a suburban back yard in the middle of summer didn't seem as such a good idea, so we thought about developing the script as a mixed media piece.

We wanted to add some real depth of field and perspective, so we decided to build a cardboard with the city and suburb landscape and shoot it in HD. To really mix the media, we went for stop motion on the cardboard penguin and 2D frame by frame animation for the character.
