When we won the pitch do do this project we thought the tricky part would be splitting our team and have half of us move to Toronto for a month. What we didn't know was that what Canadians call a "just a blizzard", would be called a natural disaster in any other country. Oh, and this was also our first live action experience with the Red One camera so we also learned new long distance + big file workflows.

Half of our staff stayed at the studio in Barcelona and worked on typography, illustrations and ink elements and part of the animation, while the other half worked on the live action shooting, animation and compositing at OPC in Toronto.
